From January 2008, the Cultural and Art Centre of Eger plays a significant role in shaping the cultural and touristic face of Eger. With its 500 000 visitors it is a popular cultural place in town.
The institution promotes the social and economical reformation by mediating universal and local values and invigorating traditions. It has got the title of ’Quality Public Cultural Institution’ in 2013 for its outstanding professional quality work.
